Multi Technician

Job Title: Multi Technician / Multi-Skilled Technician Job Summary

The Multi Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance. The role ensures that facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
• Carry out minor installations, replacements, and upgrades of equipment and fixtures
• Inspect facilities and identify faults, defects, or safety risks
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is completed to required safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and clients as required
• Ensure tools, materials, and spare parts are used efficiently
• Follow health, safety, and environmental policies at all times

Skills and Competencies

• Strong multi-trade technical skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or trade certification
• Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or technician role
• Electrical or mechanical certification (preferred, depending on industry)
• Knowledge of building services systems
• Valid driver’s license (If Available)

Working Conditions

• May involve shift work, on-call duties, or weekend work
• Requires physical activity including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
• Work may be carried out indoors and outdoors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
