Southwest Voids Ltd is a growing property refurbishment and maintenance company specialising in void property works and planned maintenance for housing associations and local authorities.

We deliver high-quality refurbishment and upgrade works, ensuring properties are completed efficiently and to a high standard ready for re-occupation.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to join our team.

The Role

As a Multi Trade Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing works alongside general multi-trade duties across both void and tenanted social housing properties.

You will be working as part of a team delivering refurbishment and planned works programmes, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Typical Duties

Your work will include:

• Plumbing installations and repairs (bathrooms, kitchens, pipework, sanitaryware)
• Diagnosing and fixing leaks, blockages and general plumbing faults
• Full bathroom rip-outs and installations
• Supporting kitchen installations where required
• Carrying out multi-trade works including:
• Basic carpentry
• Patch plastering and making good
• Minor tiling and general repairs
• Working across void properties and occupied homes
• Ensuring properties are left clean and ready for inspection
• Working across multiple sites as part of planned and reactive programmes

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong plumbing experience within domestic properties
• Has worked in refurbishment, maintenance or social housing
• Is comfortable working in tenanted properties
• Can carry out multi-trade works where required
• Works well independently and manages their own workload
• Takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber / Multi Trade Operative
• Strong plumbing and fault-finding skills
• Experience within domestic refurbishment or social housing
• Ability to carry out general multi-trade works
• Good problem-solving ability
• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS card preferred
• Relevant plumbing qualifications desirable

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
