Multifaceted Graphic Designer

Role Overview

Innovations Health is seeking a Multifaceted Graphic Designer to immediately execute our short-term objectives—including website design, high-fidelity print and tradeshow collateral, and professional photo-editing—with potential to evolve into our foundational creative leader as we launch our product to a new market. The ideal candidate is a creative generalist with depth, capable of taking ideas from early sketches to polished, production-ready assets, and comfortable working across both static and dynamic media.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working within a fast-paced startup environment where needs are continually evolving. This candidate must have a strong portfolio demonstrating:

Collaboration & Iteration

• Work closely with leadership to create and lead multimedia teams
• Participate in creative reviews, iteration cycles, and strategic discussions
• Ability to identify limitations and collaborate with and/or subcontract other design professionals to fulfill all required or preferred qualifications (if necessary).

Web & Digital Design

• Design and maintain our Company and Product Website (visual design + layout)
• Create/Edit professional-grade & web-ready photos, graphics, animations, and interactive assets
• Collaborate with technical team on implementation where needed

Print & Trade Show Collateral

• Design and produce trade show assets, including booth design, accompanying presentation decks, and display graphics.
• Develop printed collateral, such as brochures and one-pagers, targeted at researchers and academics.

Preferred Qualifications

Audio & Video Production

• Edit and produce audio and video content for: Website, Tradeshow Collateral, Internal and External Communications, etc.
• Assist with setup, filming, editing, and post-production as needed

3D Animation & Familiarity with Kinesiology

• Experience with 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya)
• Ability to visualize human anatomy, biomechanics, or kinematics
• Background or having a deep understanding in health, sports, medical, or technical visualization

Marketing Experience with Technical Audiences

• Familiarity with executing marketing strategies for product launches and industry-specific conferences, with a focus on driving booth engagement and digital lead generation.
• Ability to distill complex scientific or technical data/software concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with academic researchers, high-level investors, and/or future stakeholders.
• Experience managing a cohesive brand identity across multiple mediums, ensuring visual consistency.

Work Structure & Compensation

Location: Citrus Heights, CA (Sacramento County)

Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible, In-Office, Remote or Hybrid)

Compensation: Dependent on qualifications and experience ($80k-120k per year or hourly equivalent)

Classification: This role may be structured as W-2 or 1099, depending on availability and fit.

About Innovations Health Devices

Innovations Health Devices is a human-performance technology company preparing to launch a new industry that spans multiple markets—Functional Robotics. Our work sits at the intersection of biomechanics, robotics, and VR with applications spanning research, clinical applications, professional sports, aerospace and more. We are preparing to launch a multi-faceted research tool at an upcoming research conference and are seeking an experienced individual with an extensive skill set and a proven record creating communicative art in a variety of media. In addition, we are committed to providing the necessary support for this role and are flexible with offering a budget to acquire the tools or supplemental talent required to meet all of the qualifications outlined above. If you are a master of some but not all of the above qualifications, we are still interested in connecting, as we are flexible and able to subcontract specific skills to fill in gaps. Our goal is to complete our mission to the best ability possible.
