Multi‑Location Fill‑In Cleaner (Floater) – M–F, On‑Call, 3–30 hrs/week

Position Overview

This position provides fill‑in cleaning coverage across multiple commercial facilities, including educational, government, office, and manufacturing environments. The Multi‑Site Fill‑In Cleaner is trained at each assigned location and dispatched as needed to cover call‑ins, vacations, schedule gaps, and special cleaning needs. This role requires a high level of reliability, independence, professionalism, and trust, as the employee will serve as a keyholder at multiple facilities.

(Travel required between sites; mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate for all work‑related miles.)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fill‑in cleaning coverage at assigned facilities when scheduled or dispatched.
• Complete routine cleaning tasks such as restrooms, trash removal, sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and touch‑up cleaning.
• Follow site‑specific checklists and cleaning standards for each facility.
• Securely manage keys, access codes, and alarm systems for multiple buildings.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding schedule changes, site needs, and supply levels.
• Maintain a professional and respectful presence in educational, government, and office environments.
• Adapt quickly to different building layouts, expectations, and cleaning routines.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within the scheduled window.
• Occasionally assist with weekend or special‑request cleaning when needed.

Schedule & Hours

• Monday through Friday availability required.
• Occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts may be assigned with advance notice.
• On‑call for same‑day or next‑day coverage needs.
• Hours vary based on demand: 3–30 hours per week (not guaranteed).

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel between multiple towns within the service area.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong reliability and communication skills.
• Must pass background check (for keyholder access).
• Prior cleaning experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
