Multimedia Designer

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer to bring our storytelling to life across digital and retail touchpoints. This role is ideal for a versatile creative with sharp visual instincts, cross-platform fluency, and a deep foundation in graphic design. This person will take ideas from concept to execution—crafting compelling, on-brand creative across digital ads, email, social, and more. They’ll possess strong skills in both static and motion design and will help us move fast, think big, and execute beautifully. The right person for this role pairs craft with consistency, thrives on a fast-paced, collaborative team, and understands how to build for scale, how to push creative boundaries, and—most importantly—how to pronounce “GIF” (we’ll accept either way).

The Multimedia Designer will report to the Creative Director and be based in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design execution across digital ads, email, social, motion graphics, and other key channels
• Turn creative direction into clear, effective, and scalable visual systems
• Design with purpose—delivering cohesive, brand-right layouts and assets
• Create motion assets (GIFs, animations, overlays) to support and elevate storytelling
• Edit short-form video content to extend static design work and bring ideas to life across digital platforms
• Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to shape ideas and deliver high-impact work
• Bring a systems-thinking approach—streamlining workflows, creating reusable assets, and ensuring visual consistency
• Deliver optimized assets tailored to platform specifications, accessibility standards, and performance best practices

Qualified applicants will have the following:

• 4–6+ years of experience in a fast-paced, design-forward environment—ideally with a brand, content, or digital marketing team
• A portfolio that highlights digital-first graphic design, supported by motion and campaign work
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and proficiency in Figma
• A keen eye for visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and design systems—and the ability to apply them across formats and platforms
• Experience optimizing creative for digital performance (file size, specs, accessibility, load time)
• Strong project ownership: detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• A collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset with a passion for pushing creative work beyond the expected
• Experience designing for high-volume content or campaign environments
• Curiosity, taste, and a passion for storytelling and building thoughtful, engaging work across platforms
