Multimedia Marketing Specialist II

JOB SUMMARY:
CDI Products is expanding its Strategic Marketing organization and seeking a highly versatile Marketing Specialist with strong digital, multimedia, and content-creation capabilities. This role supports CDI’s global marketing efforts across Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Hydrogen/Energy Transition, Industrial Markets, and more. The ideal candidate is a hands-on creator who can produce compelling digital content, manage web and social channels, support trade shows, and develop visual assets (photo/video) that elevate CDI’s technical brand. Experience in Aerospace & Defense or adjacent high-tech, engineered-product industries is highly valuable. This role is perfect for a resourceful, self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to help support a modern, world-class strategic marketing function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Digital Marketing & Web
o Maintain and update CDIProducts.com and associated microsites (no coding required; CMS experience preferred).
o Support SEO/SEM improvements, digital analytics, and user-experience enhancements.
o Manage online product content, imagery, technical resources, and landing pages.
o with external web vendors for larger updates.
  • Content Development
o Write, edit, and publish multi-format content: social media posts, email campaigns, short articles, customer spotlights, event recaps, etc.
o Help produce marketing collateral, PowerPoints, brochures, and trade show assets.
  • Social Media Management
o Plan, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and industry platforms.
o Monitor engagement, track KPI performance, and recommend optimization strategies.
o Support paid social campaigns as needed.
  • Photography & Video Production
o Capture high-quality photos and videos in manufacturing environments, trade shows, and product settings.
o Edit short-form videos for social media, product features, and internal communications.
o Maintain digital asset libraries and ensure CDI brand consistency.
  • Brand & Creative Support
o Support Global Marketing Initiatives to help strengthen brand equity, promote thought leadership, and drive company interest to our broad customer base and market reach.
o Assist with graphic design for presentations, advertisements, infographics, and event materials.
o Uphold CDI brand standards across all deliverables.
o Collaborate with product management, sales, engineering, HR, and leadership teams.
  • Campaign & Event Support
o Support CDI’s global trade show presence: pre-show promotions, on-site content capture, booth materials, and follow-up campaigns.
o Help execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, social, and web.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3–7 years of experience in marketing, digital content creation, or multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in multimedia and design tools (Canva - a requirement), Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with content management systems (HubSpot – a requirement).
  • Strong writing and editing skills — able to translate technical ideas into digestible content.
  • Experience capturing and editing high-quality photography and video.
  • Familiarity with B2B or technical/industrial marketing environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with excellent attention to detail.
  • Local Candidate Required – Role will be a remote position, but candidate will need to come to Humble office for photography and video production needs and may be asked to travel to various tradeshows and other events.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor or technical degree is not required, but preferred.
  • Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry, or with engineered products, high-spec materials, or precision manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, social scheduling tools (VBout, HubSpot), and email platforms.
  • Understanding of brand management and visual storytelling.
  • Experience supporting trade shows, events, or product launches.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, cross-functional, global organizations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & POTENTIAL HAZARDS:
  • Office environment with daily exposure to the manufacturing floor.
  • Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise and heavy machinery.
