Escape To VR is not your typical entertainment venue—we specialize in turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable adventures. Based in Carlsbad, CA, we provide Location-Based Entertainment featuring Virtual Reality Escape Rooms and Free-Roam Gaming.

We focus on corporate team building, birthday parties, private group experiences, and marketing events. We’re also open for everyday bookings with individual groups. Business has been booming, and we’re ready to grow our team to keep the momentum going.

Who We're Looking For:

This part-time, onsite position is for someone who thrives in a fun, high-energy, and tech-forward environment.

We're looking for a Guest Experience Guide who isn’t just great with people, but also:

• Feels at home talking to both large groups and individual guests (some groups are up to 30 people!).
• Is confident helping customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Can clean and maintain VR gear (Vive headsets), help organize, and keep the place looking sharp.
• Loves learning new tech and can handle light troubleshooting.
• Is reliable and able to stick to a schedule.
• Is comfortable with some public speaking and energetic hosting.
• Can assist with event planning and follow calendar-based task lists.
• Is detail-oriented, proactive, and helps keep things running behind the scenes (inventory checks, room prep, etc.).
• Can create simple and engaging social media content using Canva to help support our marketing team.
• Enjoys working independently but also thrives in a team setting.

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience with escape rooms (playing or working).
• Have worked in theme parks, entertainment venues, or face-to-face sales.
• Know Canva, Instagram, or any creative tools for content creation.
• Have performance or hosting experience (you'll shine with larger groups).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
