Municipal Court Judge

MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE

The City of Colorado City is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Municipal Court Judge. Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency and be able to pass an extensive criminal and background check. The position requires the ability to maintain fair and consistent relations with a diverse population and the ability to work flexible hours. Applicants will be required to successfully complete training as required by the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center. Duties include Maintaining court records, magistrate adult prisoners and juveniles, presiding over Municipal Court, filing all reports as required by law and all other duties of Municipal Court.
