The City of Bend is accepting applications for one (1) regular, full-time Municipal Court Supervisor in the Municipal Court Division of the Finance Department. The Municipal Court Supervisor plays a vital role in keeping the court running smoothly and serving the public with fairness, clarity, and professionalism. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys problem solving, mentoring staff, and balancing the human side of justice with the practical needs of daily operations. From helping customers at the front counter to coordinating schedules, responding to questions from the public, and supporting judges and court administration, no two days are quite the same. You’ll be at the center of the action, ensuring cases move forward efficiently while maintaining a respectful and welcoming environment for everyone who comes through the courtroom doors.
This role is about guiding a talented team that helps people navigate a sometimes stressful court process. You’ll work alongside the court manager to coach and support staff, step in when challenges arise, and look for ways to improve how the court serves the community. Upcoming projects and opportunities may include modernizing processes, improving customer service practices, supporting technology upgrades, and helping the court adapt to changing laws or community needs.
