Under direction, prosecutes violations of criminal and motor vehicle statutes on behalf of the Stateand, in addition, prosecutes violations of municipal ordinances in behalf of the municipality; doesrelated work as required.NOTEThe examples of work for this title are for illustrative purposes only. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Prosecutes contested motor vehicle cases.Prosecutes violations of municipal ordinances such as disorderly person’s charges.Prosecutes contested dog bite cases.Prosecutes violations of the municipal plumbing, health, electrical and building codes.Prosecutes indictable criminal charges such as the passing of bad checks over two hundreddollars in value.Will be required to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording andinformation systems used by the agency, office or related units.
