Do you enjoy Trivia or Music Bingo?

We are seeking a fun & friendly Trivia host/hostess to join our dynamic team and provide the best trivia experience possible with our award-winning software.

In this role, you will be the Hosting Trivia and or Music Bingo and you will be the first point of contact ensuring a positive experience.

We’re seeking retirees or semi-retirees who’d enjoy earning some extra income while spending time with great people and having fun.

You will setup the audio & video equipment and manage registering the guests/teams, assist them with playing the game as needed, and maintain an efficient flow in a fun and friendly manner within a restaurant/bar setting.

At the end of the game, you will then break down the sound and video system and reset the TVs for the venue. Approximately 15 mins to do this.

You will be responsible for Maintaining the equipment in a safe and secure manner and relay any issues that might arise.

You should have good trouble shooting skills and clean and friendly manner.

Most of all be punctual and you must be committed to the schedule as the venues are relying on you.

This position is for Thursday night 7 to 9pm. It is always best to be there 45 min prior to setup.

If you like people/crowds and love Trivia and can speak easily and comfortably on a microphone. This is an opportunity to go out and have fun and make money too!

All training, materials and audio & video equipment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift 20lbs
• Setup the audio and visual equipment.
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Register the teams for the game/games.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Run/Host the game effectively and interact with the guests. If you’re a teacher, DJ, actor, etc., then this is for you!
• Break Down the equipment and return the dining room to its previous state in your work area.
• Manage supplies and upload game data at the end of the night.
• Most of all "be fun" and "have fun!"

Requirements

• You must be at least 21 to be hired.
• Previous experience in customer service or entertainment is preferred.
• You must be staying in your area for at least a year.
• Excellent communication/verbal skills to interact positively with players/teams.
• Previous experience in a theater / comedy / restaurant/ customer service / teaching / plays / arts and entertainment / dj / public speaking or similar experience is a plus but not required.
• Solid Transportation is a must and must be able to travel to the venues to arrive no later than 6:15pm.
• You will complete training on the use of our systems, plus basic AV setup and hosting skills.
