- Curriculum and instruction: Design and implement a comprehensive music curriculum, develop lesson plans, and conduct classes in singing, instrumental playing, and music theory.
- Performance and events: Organize and lead school concerts, recitals, and other musical performances. This includes managing the vision, process, and logistics for these events.
- Ensemble management: Coordinate and lead school choirs, bands, or other ensembles, and organize opportunities for students to perform.
- Student assessment: Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into cross-curricular projects and school events.
- Staff coordination: Supervise and coordinate a team of instrumental music teachers and manage their schedules.
- Inclusivity: Ensure a positive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity and teamwork, and supports students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.
