Music Engineer

Duties

• Collaborate with artists, producers, and directors to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality audio recordings.
• Operate and maintain professional audio equipment for recording, mixing, and mastering music tracks.
• Utilize digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid for editing and post-production tasks.
• Conduct signal processing to refine sound quality, including equalization, compression, reverb, and noise reduction.
• Assist in filming sessions by setting up microphones and capturing high-fidelity audio during video shoots.
• Edit and synchronize music with visual content to create seamless multimedia productions.
• Support content creation by designing sound effects and musical scores that elevate storytelling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in music engineering or related roles within the media production industry.
• Strong proficiency with audio editing software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid.
• Knowledge of post-production techniques for both music and video content.
• Familiarity with videography principles and filming processes to support multimedia projects.
• Expertise in signal processing methods to optimize sound quality across different formats.
• Experience with video production workflows including filming, editing, and integrating audio components.
