Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic MUSIC INDUSTRY TALENT BUYER to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, contacting artist representatives, and securing new up and coming musical talent to enhance our live events and promotional activities. Your passion for music, combined with your strategic researching skills, will drive the success of our entertainment offerings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the Arizona musical landscape and connect audiences with unforgettable live experiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate emerging artists, bands, and performers suitable for various events.
• Negotiate contracts, fees, and technical requirements with talent agencies..
• Manage the end-to-end booking process, including scheduling and contractual agreements.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of new emerging artists along with their respective performance histories and talent agency contacts.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new artists, and market dynamics to ensure a fresh and diverse talent roster.

Skills

• Strong understanding of the music industry landscape, including artist management and booking processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining positive relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other normal office computer systems.
• Experience with researching new talent in the entertainment sector.
