Music Licensing Manager

As we expand our operations in Qatar, we are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Music Licensing Manager to manage licensing agreements, ensure compliance, and maximize the value of our music assets.

Role Overview

The Music Licensing Manager will oversee all aspects of music rights management, negotiate licensing agreements, and ensure legal compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of music copyright laws, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage relationships with artists, labels, and rights organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate music licensing agreements for digital and broadcast platforms
• Oversee rights clearance and ensure compliance with copyright laws and regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with music publishers, record labels, and artists
• Monitor license usage and ensure accurate reporting and royalty payments
• Collaborate with legal, content, and operations teams on licensing strategies
• Track industry trends, rights management practices, and regulatory changes
• Develop and implement processes for efficient licensing operations
• Prepare reports on licensing performance and budget management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Law, Entertainment Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in music licensing, rights management, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of music copyright, licensing agreements, and royalties
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Qatar or GCC entertainment market
• Familiarity with digital music platforms and licensing technologies
• Knowledge of international music rights and publishing standards
• Experience working with high-profile artists or music catalogs
