Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and foster musical growth.
• Teach music theory, history, and practical skills through vocal and instrumental instruction.
• Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Organize and direct school music performances, including concerts and recitals.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration about student progress and activities.
• Manage classroom resources and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in music education.
• Previous teaching experience in a school setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in vocal and instrumental performance.
• Strong knowledge of music theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all skill levels.
