Music Teacher

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Classroom Instruction

• Teach vocal and/or instrumental music as per the school curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, practical sessions, and music demonstrations.
• Introduce students to Indian classical, light music, folk, and contemporary styles.
• Train students in rhythm, melody, notation reading, and voice modulation.

Skill Development

• Identify musical talent and help students improve their singing or instrumental skills.
• Organize practice sessions for choir groups, solo performances, and band teams.
• Prepare students for school competitions, cultural events, and inter-school programs.

Event & Program Coordination

• Lead all music-related activities for annual day, festivals, assemblies, and celebrations.
• Coordinate with dance, drama, and art departments for integrated performances.

Assessment & Progress

• Assess students through performances, theory tests, and practical evaluations.
• Maintain records of attendance, performance progress, and grade reports.

Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline in music classes and practice rooms.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and care of musical instruments.

Communication & Collaboration

• Interact with parents to discuss student progress and participation.
• Participate in staff meetings, training workshops, and school development programs.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
