Role Overview

We are looking for a talented, dedicated, and versatile Music Teacher proficient in both Vocal and Instrumental music to train students across grade levels and contribute to the school’s cultural and performing arts programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Skill Development

• Teach vocal music (Classical, Semi-classical, Light music, Bhajans, Patriotic songs, etc.).
• Teach instrumental music (keyboard, tabla, harmonium, guitar, percussion instruments, etc.).
• Train students in rhythm, melody, voice modulation, musical notation, and performance techniques.
• Conduct regular practice sessions for individual and group performances.

2. Lesson Planning & Curriculum Delivery

• Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with CBSE performing arts curriculum.
• Introduce students to music theory, notation reading, and basic composition skills.
• Plan age-appropriate music activities, rhymes (for primary), and group singing sessions.

3. Event Preparation & School Activities

• Prepare students for assemblies, cultural functions, festivals, competitions, and Annual Day.
• Compose, select, and coordinate music for school performances and events.
• Manage choir groups, instrumental bands, and special performance teams.

4. Student Engagement & Classroom Management

• Maintain an engaging, disciplined, and joyful learning environment.
• Identify talented students and provide advanced training support.
• Encourage confidence, expression, teamwork, and stage presence.

5. Administrative & Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain student performance records and practice logs.
• Take responsibility for musical instruments—care, tuning, and safe handling.
• Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, and school programs.
• Collaborate with dance, art, and cultural teams for integrated performances.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Degree/Diploma in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized institution.
• Min. 3 Years Experience teaching music to school-age children preferred.
• Proficiency in both vocal training and multiple musical instruments.
• Knowledge of classical, semi-classical, and contemporary music styles.

Skills Required

• Strong musical talent and command over rhythm, melody, and notation.
• Ability to teach both group and individual performances.
• Creativity in composing and arranging songs for events.
• Good communication, patience, and a child-friendly approach.
• Passion for promoting music and performing arts in students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
