JOB DESCRIPTION.

• Teach music classes to students according to the school curriculum
• Provide practical training in Tabla, Flute, Sitar, and basic vocal music
• Teach fundamentals of music such as rhythm (taal), melody (raag), and notation
• Prepare students for performances, school events, and cultural programs
• Identify and nurture musical talent among students
• Maintain instruments and ensure proper handling by students
• Plan engaging lessons suitable for different age groups
• Encourage discipline, creativity, and appreciation of music
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Music (Indian Classical Music preferred)
• Proficiency in at least one or more instruments: Tabla, Flute, Sitar
• Prior teaching experience in a school or music academy (preferred)
• Ability to work well with children and adolescents
• Good communication and classroom management skills

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Indian classical music
• Ability to teach both beginners and advanced students
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching
• Basic knowledge of vocal music is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
