Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary:

St. Teresa School, Kaushambi, is seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to inspire students through music education and performance. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both vocal and instrumental music, capable of nurturing creativity, discipline, and appreciation for music among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students across different grades.
• Teach vocal and instrumental music (keyboard, harmonium, tabla, guitar, etc.).
• Prepare students for school assemblies, cultural programs, and competitions.
• Organize and lead choir practices, annual day performances, and special events.
• Maintain all musical instruments and ensure their proper use and care.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
• Encourage student participation and identify individual musical talents.
• Collaborate with teachers for integrating music into other academic activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferred).
• Proficiency in multiple musical instruments.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for music education.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Saturday (as per school timings).

Compensation:

• Salary as per school norms and experience.
