Duties

• Develop engaging and comprehensive music curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of singing, instrument playing, and music theory
• Plan and deliver interactive lessons that incorporate classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and focused learning atmosphere
• Guide students through various musical activities such as rehearsals, performances, and recordings, encouraging teamwork and self-expression
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional and social development
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education needs, and extracurricular events to enrich the overall educational experience

Requirements

• Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds, including special education and childhood development needs
• Skills in working with students with diverse learning styles; familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• A background in working with adult education or tutoring is advantageous but not required

Pay: $31.35 - $37.76 per hour
