Position Title: Music Teacher

Department: Academics / Arts

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering structured music education to students, developing their musical skills, and encouraging creative expression through vocal and instrumental training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students
• Teach vocal training and/or instrumental skills (as per requirement)
• Develop lesson plans aligned with student age and skill level
• Organize classroom activities, rehearsals, and performances
• Prepare students for school events, assemblies, and competitions
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in class
• Identify student talent and provide individual guidance
• Maintain attendance and progress records of students
• Collaborate with academic staff for event planning and performances

Qualifications:

• Degree/diploma in Music or relevant training preferred
• Experience in teaching music (school experience preferred)
• Proficiency in vocals and/or instruments (piano, guitar, etc.)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Creative, energetic, and student-focused approach
