As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate financial operations that directly support patient care and organizational success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and process accounts payable data entry for CHN with accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain working knowledge of MIP and Intuit QuickBooks to support daily AP transactions
  • Reconcile accounts payable and bank accounts monthly, reporting discrepancies to the Associate Director of Finance
  • Partner with the Grant Accountant to ensure expenses are coded and booked in alignment with grant budgets
  • Support month‑end closing activities as assigned
  • Maintain a working understanding of the full payroll cycle and independently run payroll and invoice payments as needed
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies while collaborating closely with the CFO and Finance team
  • Perform additional finance‑related duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating with a team
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement

Preferred:

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, or financial systems
