Nail Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and cosmetology, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for our clients.

Duties

• Perform various nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades and designs.
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure the health and safety of clients.
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs.
• Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments.
• Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and products.
• Assist in retail sales by promoting nail care products and other beauty items.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to provide innovative services.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Knowledge of cosmetology principles, including hair styling, barbering, and hair threading is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math to effectively manage sales transactions.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
