Nail Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, Gel X, Builder Gel and nail art with precision and creativity
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safety
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish, and intricate designs to meet client expectations
• Upsell additional services like body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
• Stay current on beauty trends, new products, and innovative nail techniques to provide fresh ideas and services
• Manage retail sales by recommending nail care products and accessories that suit individual needs

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Knowledge of color theory to create appealing designs and coordinate colors effectively
• Experience with various nail care services including gel application, acrylics, and nail art techniques
• Strong communication skills to engage clients professionally and understand their preferences
• Commitment to sanitation standards and proper sterilization procedures for tools and workstations
• Familiarity with hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and barbering is a plus for cross-service opportunities
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
• Basic retail math skills for managing sales transactions efficiently
