Responsibilities

• Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and color choices based on client preferences and skin tones
• Educate clients on nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails and long-lasting results
• Upsell additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to deliver innovative looks
• Manage retail sales of nail products, tools, and related beauty items using retail math skills to meet sales goals

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and sterilization procedures
• Experience with various nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art
• Familiarity with color theory to create harmonious designs tailored to each client
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to perform multiple treatments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair styling, eyelash extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, or barbering are a plus but not required
