Duties

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to create stunning nail designs that complement client preferences and trends
• Conduct esthetic laser treatments related to nail health and skin rejuvenation when applicable
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Offer expert advice on nail care routines, products, and maintenance to promote healthy nails
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and accessories to enhance client satisfaction and store sales
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, personalized service, and attentive listening

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields
• Demonstrated knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel application, acrylics, and body waxing procedures if applicable
• Familiarity with color theory to assist clients in choosing suitable shades and designs
• Experience with eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, or barbering is a plus but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently using retail math skills to meet sales goals
