Full-Time Nanny | Upper East Side, NYC

A warm and welcoming family on the Upper East Side is seeking a dedicated, high-energy full-time nanny to care for their toddler. The family is also newly expecting, making this a wonderful opportunity for a candidate who is confident supporting a growing household long-term.

Schedule & Compensation

Monday–Friday (50 hrs guaranteed)

- Monday - 8AM - 6:30PM
- Tuesday - 730AM - 6PM
- Wednesday - 8AM - 630PM
- Thursday - 7:30AM - 6PM
- Friday - 8AM - 5:30PM

$35 per hour (*increase when care for a 2nd child arises)

Position Overview

This role is centered around attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a busy 2 year-old child, along with child-related household responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a structured, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, learning, and social development
• Preparing light, healthy meals for the child and family if candidate enjoys cooking and would be compensated more for that
• Managing child’s laundry and maintaining an organized wardrobe (including seasonal rotations)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the child’s bedroom and play areas
• Sanitizing toys and keeping spaces tidy and up to date
• Supporting daily routines and encouraging positive development

Summer Expectations

During summer months when the child attends camp, the nanny will pivot to supporting the household with:

• Organizational projects
• Rotating toys and seasonal clothing
• Assisting with child-related product research and home organization
• Maintaining systems that keep the home running smoothly
