Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and support for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while engaging children in educational and developmental activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and experienced in caring for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster growth, learning, and happiness in the children’s daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap times
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies
• Maintain a clean and organized environment through light cleaning and tidying up after activities
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with parents to follow specific care instructions and communicate daily updates on the child's progress
• Plan creative activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical development

Skills

• Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles, especially with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children
• Knowledge of child development milestones and effective teaching methods for young children
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and respond effectively in emergencies
• Skilled in meal preparation and understanding nutritional requirements for children of different ages
• Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Capable of light cleaning duties related to child care environments to maintain hygiene standards
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and adaptability in dynamic caregiving situations

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
