Afternoon/Evening Nanny Needed in San Fernando Valley (91325)

A warm and respectful family in San Fernando Valley is seeking a long-term Afternoon/Evening Nanny to care for their three children, ages 10, 7, and 4, starting immediately. Two of the children, ages 7 and 10, are on the autism spectrum and are high-functioning in general education classrooms.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
Most Saturdays, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
Flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments as needed
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Arrive on time and help with light cleaning of the children’s areas and related tasks before they get home
• Pick up the children from school, transport them to activities, and return home safely
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children and mom
• Support bedtime routines, including baths, brushing teeth, and administering medication if needed
• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally supportive care
• Use creativity, redirection, and positive motivational techniques to support behavior and routines
• Must know how to swim, as the family has a pool

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a female who is creative, punctual, responsible, reliable, and honest. She is collaborative and supportive, understands family hierarchy, and values being a true “mommy’s helper.” Thoughtful input is welcomed, while final decisions remain with mom and dad. She is experienced with, or genuinely comfortable caring for, children on the autism spectrum and brings a calm, steady, and regulated presence to the home. This person is patient, consistent, adaptable, and attentive, and enjoys engaging children in a positive, creative, and supportive way.

Requirements:
Must be fully vaccinated: TDAP, TB, COVID, Boosters, Flu
Compensation:
$30–32/hour
