Part-Time Nanny / Family Mentor (Weekends + 3 Weekdays)

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 20+ Guaranteed Hours per week

The Opportunity

A thoughtful and dedicated Reno family is seeking a reliable, warm, and structured Nanny to join their household team. This is a unique and rewarding role supporting three children (ages 4, 10, and 12) in a stable, loving environment.

The family is looking for more than just a babysitter—they are seeking a positive mentor who understands the importance of consistency, clear boundaries, and emotional support.

The Schedule (25+ Hours Weekly)

This position offers a great blend of structured weekend shifts and flexible weekday afternoons:

• Weekends (Required): Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Weekdays: 3 Afternoons per week (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM). You choose which three days!
• Note: Parents are self-employed and are typically on-site during weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Active Childcare: Provide hands-on, engaging care for the 4-year-old (play, outings, and enrichment).
• Mentorship: Provide guidance, homework support, and positive role-modeling for the two older girls (ages 10 and 12).
• Transportation: Handle school pickups and safe transport home using your own reliable vehicle.
• Routine Management: Maintain a calm, structured after-school flow and help the kids transition through their daily tasks.
• Light Housekeeping: Keep the "kid zones" tidy, assist with meal cleanup, and encourage the children to clean up after themselves.

• Great Communicator: You keep the guardians informed and work as a partner in the children's development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny, Family Assistant, or Teacher.
• Reliable personal vehicle with a clean driving record and valid license.
• Comfortable around a friendly, older dog (Pittie-mix).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and provide excellent professional references.
• A heart for children who thrive on routine and emotional safety.
