Nanny

We are looking to hire someone for an hourly role, in-person in our home in Fort Myers, FL. Husband works remotely from home. Wife works at hospital with average hours of 8am-4pm. Will be looking for someone with availability in the 7 to 8 am start time and 3 to 5pm finish time, Monday through Friday. Some weekends available. Flexibility offered to work less or more hours as your lifestyle and our lifestyle permits.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide exceptional childcare and nurturing support for our child. He was born January 27th, 2026. We are looking to hire with a start date of August 3rd, 2026, so he will be just over 6 months old. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment where our child can thrive, learn, and develop essential life skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about fostering positive growth and development in young children. As a vital part of the family’s daily routine, you will play a key role in supporting their physical, emotional, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for our child & ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diaper changes
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas
• Support developmental milestones through educational play, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, or daycare settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of infant care practices and toddler development stages
• Experience with meal preparation for children with attention to nutritional guidelines
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Previous preschool or early childhood education experience is beneficial
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm
