Job Summary
We are seeking two Spanish-speaking, dedicated and energetic Nannies to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for (7) children in a warm and nurturing environment. This is at a central location in West Odessa. The ideal candidates will be passionate about child development, proactive in creating engaging activities, and committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while fostering a fun and supportive atmosphere for growth during the summer.
A typical day would include food preparation (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) followed by outdoor play and chores on the mini-farm. You will oversee children completing their feeding chickens, dogs, and horses. Lunch is at 1pm, followed by reading to get them ready for naptime from 2-3pm. The remainder of the afternoon is spent on the prepared educational activities/crafts.
Duties
- Plan educational and fun activities with a budget for interactive indoor and outdoor play for ages 2-11 that could include etiquette, food preparation, crafts for holidays or special occasions, and house chores
- Supervise high energy, playful explorers by coordinating age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development as this is a screen-free home
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to play and learning
- Follow daily routines including nap times, hygiene practices, and educational activities
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Assist with light household tasks related to children such as tidying toys or organizing supplies
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and empathetic interactions
Qualifications
- Teaching experience preferred, prior experience caring for children or infants is required
- Strong understanding of child safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents or guardians
- Ability to create engaging activities that stimulate development across multiple domains
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable with a proactive approach to caregiving
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is a plus but not mandatory initially; willingness to obtain certification required

Schedule would be Monday-Saturday 9:30-5pm. Sunday 12-6pm. One day off per week. Paid weekly, Monday through Sunday paid the following Thursday.
