Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny to provide care for our 7 year old daughter who has cerebral palsy. This position is ideal for anyone interested in the healthcare field or therapy field. Nanny will be able to partake and be trained in physical, occupational, and speech/feeding therapy. This position provides an opportunity for growth and learning. We have cultivated relationships with Universities, Hospitals and Therapy Centers.

We are looking for someone who is nurturing, supportive and is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a position. Experience is appreciated but we are open to training if applicant does not have any experience with special needs. If interested HHA training for a certification is also available. We are looking for a proactive individual who can drive and is fluent in English. With the right fit we are also willing to work with the candidates available hours.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety
• Plan and prepare meals. Training will be provided.
• Maintain cleanliness in play areas and assist with household tasks related to childcare.
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies calmly- Training provided
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and utilizing provided equipment.

Experience

• Proven experience in childcare, including babysitting, nannying, is appreciated but we can train
• Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool experience is highly desirable.
• Skills in meal preparation and cooking appreciated but can train.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
