Nanny / After-School Teacher

Location: Houston, TX (Near Medical Center, 77025)
Pay: $13–$15 per hour
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week (flexible, may include weekends)

Job Description:
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and dependable Nanny / After-School Teacher to support our 9-year-old daughter (4th grade). The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and enjoys working with children in both academic and active settings.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up child from school and safely transport her home
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Assist with daily homework and reinforce learning
• Plan and engage in educational and physical activities
• Encourage positive behavior, structure, and discipline
• Perform light housekeeping related to the child and home
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Prior childcare, tutoring, or nanny experience preferred
• Comfortable helping with elementary-level schoolwork
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Flexible availability (including occasional weekends)
• Calm, patient, and attentive personality
• Clean background and strong references

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
