Nanny (Afternoons & Evenings)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide attentive care for children during afternoons and evenings. This vital role involves nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety of children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development, creativity, and fun during afternoon and evening hours
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking
• Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and bedtime preparations to ensure comfort and security
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties related to childcare supplies and play areas
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and providing compassionate assistance
• Administer basic first aid when necessary, responding promptly to minor injuries or health concerns
• Foster positive behavior through teaching good manners, social skills, and conflict resolution techniques

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, babysitting, nannying, or teaching roles
• Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, preschool activities, and early childhood development principles
• Familiarity with caregiving techniques for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, energy, and professionalism
• Experience in meal preparation tailored for young children’s nutritional requirements
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and other caregivers

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

• This position is in Palm Beach Island - North. Can you reliably commute to work on a daily basis?
• Are you available to work the following schedule:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (with occasional later hours on Thursdays or Fridays during the season, November - April).

Saturdays will vary between either 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:00 PM to midnight, depending on family commitments.
