Nanny – Flexible Hours

Part-Time to Full-Time

Compensation:
Hourly Wage: $20–$22 per hour
Overtime: $30–$33 per hour

We are hiring an experienced, engaging nanny to work with local families in Irvine and surrounding areas. You will provide attentive care for infants and toddlers while parents work. Most assignments take place Monday through Friday during traditional business hours, with flexible scheduling available.

This role is ideal for someone with prior childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, daycare, preschool, or church nursery settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive care for infants and toddlers
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities including reading, arts and crafts, and play
• Maintain open communication with parents
• Support children’s daily routines, including feeding, naps, and clean-up of activities

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on infant care experience
• Available at least 5 days per week for 6–9 hour shifts between 7:00am–7:00pm
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to provide 3 references (2 childcare-related, 1 character reference)
• Dependable, punctual, and professional

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely
• Frequent transitions between floor and standing positions
