Nanny and Babysitter

Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to provide attentive childcare for <PERSON> and <PERSON>. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, and experienced in early childhood care. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. The Nanny will also assist with light household tasks related to child care, such as meal preparation and cleaning, ensuring the well-being and development of the children.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for <PERSON> and <PERSON>, ensuring their safety at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children’s dietary needs
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Assist with diapering, feeding, bathing, dressing, and other daily routines for infants and toddlers
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light cleaning related to childcare
• Support preschool learning activities and developmental milestones
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies
• Work with children who have special needs or disabilities with patience and understanding
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and concerns

Skills

• Experience with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
• First aid certification is highly desirable
• Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary requirements
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus
• Ability to handle light housekeeping tasks related to childcare such as cleaning toys or children's areas
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents about child's progress and needs
• Teaching experience or background in early childhood education is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.14 - $27.87 per hour
