Nanny and Babysitter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual who will engage with our 2 girls ages 9 and 11. The start date for this job will be summer hours. Swimming and outside play are a daily activity during the summer. Crafts and art projects on rainy days. Driving to do short errands, or outing, cleaning up after any projects, supervising during meal prep, keep kids off electronics and helping them engage their minds.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, incorporating meal preparation skills to support healthy eating habits
• Engage in educational activities that promote learning and development
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to childcare
• Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
• Driving short distances for outings or errands

Skills

• Proven experience in nannying or babysitting with children of various ages
• Strong knowledge of childcare best practices
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and handle emergency situations calmly
• Competence in meal preparation tailored to children's dietary requirements
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers
• Ability to manage household tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning up after children and organizing toys or supplies
