About the Role:

We are seeking a warm, patient, and highly skilled caregiver to work one-on-one with our toddler, Benjamin, in our home. This role is ideal for someone with a background in speech-language pathology, early childhood development, or pediatric therapy, who enjoys integrating therapeutic techniques into daily play and routines.

This is not a traditional nanny role. Our priority is speech and language development, with structured, intentional interaction throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home, one-on-one care focused on speech and language development

• Implement speech exercises, play-based language strategies, and repetition techniques

• Work closely with parents and (if applicable) a licensed SLP to reinforce therapy goals

• Encourage expressive and receptive language through reading, music, play, and routine activities

• Maintain a calm, patient, and emotionally supportive environment

Required Qualifications:

• Background in speech therapy, speech-language pathology (SLP), early intervention, or related pediatric therapy

• Experience working with toddlers or young children

• Strong understanding of early speech and language milestones

• Ability to work independently in a private home

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Highly Preferred:

• Licensed SLP, SLP-A, or graduate student in speech-language pathology

• Experience with in-home therapy or early intervention programs

• Ability to document progress and communicate clearly with parents
