Nanny / Caregiver

Schedule Options: Flexible Part-Time, Full-Time, and On-Call Assignments Available

Compensation Details:

• Base Pay: $20–$22 per hour
• Additional Compensation: +$2 per hour for each additional sibling cared for during the same assignment

Position Summary

We are currently expanding our caregiver team to support families throughout Orange and nearby communities. This opportunity is perfect for childcare professionals who enjoy variety in their schedule while still having access to steady, ongoing placements.

Whether you have experience as a nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, daycare assistant, or you’re a college student studying education or child development, we welcome individuals who are reliable, energetic, and genuinely enjoy working with children.

Caregivers in this role provide in-home support for children ranging from infants to elementary school age. The focus is on maintaining structure, encouraging creativity, and ensuring children feel safe and supported in their home environment.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and care for children from infancy through elementary school
• Plan and participate in engaging activities such as crafts, storytelling, imaginative play, and outdoor time
• Support school-aged children with homework and basic academic skills (through 5th grade)
• Maintain open, professional communication with families
• Keep play areas tidy and organized
• Follow household routines and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of childcare experience (formal or informal)
• Availability at least 3 weekdays between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs and stay active throughout the day
• Comfortable sitting, kneeling, bending, and engaging in floor play
• Calm, responsible demeanor in urgent or unexpected situations
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three references (two childcare-related and one personal reference)
