Nanny / Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Nanny / Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support for children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while engaging children in educational and fun activities. We have a 10 month old and a 3 year old. We are mostly looking for care for our 10 month old or both when our 3 y/o isn’t in school.

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Outside play or walks daily (weather permitting)
• Create activities for children either inside and outside
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
• Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, cleaning and tidying of play areas and children's belongings
• Follow safety protocols including first aid procedures when necessary and ensure emergency contacts are readily available

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare, nannying, babysitting or working in daycare settings
• Ability to perform first aid confidently and respond effectively to emergencies
• Minor cooking skills to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and caregivers effectively

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
