Nanny / Family Assistant/ Housekeeper

I’m a single dad looking for a dependable, warm, and organized Family Assistant to help care for my children and support the smooth running of my home while I am at work. This role blends childcare, transportation for the kids, meal preparation, and full household upkeep. The kids are in school or with their mom periodically during these hours, so the day includes a mix of childcare and home-support tasks. Consistency and punctuality are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaged care for the children when they are home
• Drive children to and from school, activities, and appointments
• Prepare basic, healthy meals and dinners
• Maintain a clean, orderly home environment, including daily cleaning and general organization, dishes, counters, and regular wipe-downs, floors, bathrooms, and routine cleaning tasks, keeping areas and kids’ spaces picked up and organized, and periodic window cleaning.
• Handle family laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
• Support homework, chores, and practice routines; help the kids stay on track with instruments and responsibilities
• Ensure the kids have proper sized clothes for the season and help get the younger ones off for the day.
• Keep food and household supplies stocked
• Maintain a safe, calm, and encouraging environment

Schedule

• Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Children are in school or with their mom part of this time, so household tasks are an important part of the role
• Kids are ages 5, 11, 14, 16

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
