Nanny-Family Assistant Needed

The right support doesn’t just help a family function. It changes how they experience their everyday life.

In Madison, Mississippi, an incredibly kind and down-to-earth physician family is seeking a Family Assistant who can step into their world with confidence and a love for supporting both children and the family as a whole. This is a family that gives so much of themselves to others through their work, and what they’re hoping for now is someone who can come alongside them and bring that same level of care and intention into their home.

With two sweet daughters, one who is full of imagination and personality at five years old, and a one-year-old just beginning to explore the world, this home is filled with curiosity, laughter, and the beautiful fullness of family life. Their home carries a sense of warmth and ease, the kind that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in.

Alongside their family is a friendly, energetic lab mix who adds an extra layer of liveliness to their days.

This is not a one-dimensional role. It’s a blend of childcare and household support, designed for someone who enjoys being both hands-on with children and providing support behind the scenes. Some days will be centered around the children, including school drop-offs, engaging the girls through play, reading stories, spending time outdoors or at the pool, and heading out for activities that keep their world big and bright. Other days will shift into supporting the home itself, including washing and folding laundry, meal prepping, running errands, organizing spaces, or simply creating an organized space that allows everything else to flow.

Both parents serve in demanding medical careers, with schedules that can vary from week to week. They understand the importance of giving their Family Assistant clarity and will provide schedules well in advance, often a month ahead, while also needing someone who can move with flexibility when life calls for it. There may be weeks that lean into evenings or weekends, and others that allow for lighter daytime hours. Through it all, reliability and timeliness are deeply valued, as this role plays a meaningful part in helping their home stay grounded.
