Nanny For 5 Month Old: Copper Canyon/Highland Village, TX

A growing family in Copper Canyon, TX is seeking an experienced, and energetic nanny to care for their 5 month old baby girl, who is now transitioning to solids and entering a wonderfully engaged stage of early development. This part time role offers a consistent daytime schedule Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This role is ideal for a nurturing nanny who is passionate about early childhood development.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (28 hours per week)
• $25 to $27 per hour, flexible based on experience
• Occasional travel possible; daily rate provided when applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care throughout the day
• Support feeding routines, including bottle preparation and guidance through the transition to solids
• Engage baby in active, stimulating play including floor time, walks, and age-appropriate activities
• Get up and down with ease, including climbing in and out of a play yard as needed
• Take daily walks with baby as part of the routine
• Follow safe sleep guidelines and maintain consistent nap and sleep routines
• Log all daily activities, feedings, sleep, and developmental observations using the family’s designated tracking app
• Provide parents with thorough end-of-day summaries sharing milestones, mood, and anything noteworthy
• Prepare and wash bottles
• Handle baby’s laundry and light housekeeping as needed, including folding towels and maintaining a tidy nursery environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized space for baby at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience with babies is required
• Physically active, energetic, and comfortable with hands on baby care
• Located in or near the Copper Canyon, Highland Village, or Flower Mound area is preferred
• Warm, calm, dependable, and deeply trustworthy
• Strong understanding of baby development milestones and how to support them
• Comfortable using a care tracking app and communicating consistently with parents
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination preferred
• No pets in the home; candidate should be comfortable in a pet free environment
• Open to occasional travel; daily rate provided
