Nanny for Infant

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and reliable childcare for our 3.5 month old son on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays - 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care for our infant, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times
  • Prepare breast milk bottles every 3-4 hours as needed
  • Burp infant following feedings
  • Change diapers and clean infant appropriately
  • Engage child with educational activities that promote learning and development
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties related to childcare areas and living areas
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health concerns or emergencies
  • Administer CPR correctly if necessary and promptly follow emergency protocol
  • Support child with daily routines such as diapering, stretching, dressing, and nap times
  • Assist with developmental milestones by encouraging age-appropriate play and teaching basic skills
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving routines and share updates on children's progress
  • Keep journal on Huckleberry app of feeds, diapers, and naps (will provide access and instructions)
  • Must be comfortable with dogs. Dog will be caged, but will be in home.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in a nannying or babysitting capacity is required
  • Experience caring for infants is essential
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities is important
  • Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
