Nanny for special needs child...Full Time....Long term

Job Overview:

We are seeking a caring and responsible nanny for our son. As a nanny, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our son. If you have a passion for working with children and ensuring their well-being, we would love to hear from you. Our son is autistic and non-verbal for now. He is starting to find words here and there. We are looking for a caring, loving, engaged, dependable, flexible individual who is experienced with special needs and their unique needs. Our son is not violent at all. He is a sweetheart and just needs someone who is willing to get to know him, keep him safe and connect with him well. Its easy to find a sitter. Very difficult to find someone who truly cares about him and wants to help him grow while also keeping him safe and providing us with peace of mind.

Our current nanny is moving out of state end of July. This position doesnt begin until around that time. We are hoping to find someone to train before she leaves.

Duties:

- Engage our son in development and creativity.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the him at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
- Assist with homework and educational activities.
- Provide basic first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Follow any specific routines or guidelines set by the parents.

- Pick him up from school and run errands as needed.

- Clean up and organize.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience working with special needs children.
- Ability to educate and entertain children in a positive manner.
- First aid certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.

-Must be physically fit, active and able to keep up with an energetic 13 year old. Our son loves to swim, paddleboard, ride bikes, etc...
