Job Title: Full-Time Nanny
Location: Puerto Rico
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Full-Time Nanny to care for two young children in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Spanish and English speaker with a minimum of 6 years of experience working as a nanny for a private family. This role involves caring for a 4-month-old infant and a 2.5-year-old toddler and requires flexibility in timing to accommodate the family’s needs in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old and a 2.5-year-old child.
– Develop and implement engaging and educational activities that support childhood milestones and development.
– Manage and coordinate the children’s schedules, including driving them to and from activities.
– Prepare and provide balanced, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
– Handle laundry and other related tasks for the children.
– Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including their play and sleeping areas.
– Keep track of the children’s appointments, including doctors’ visits.
– Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
– Communicate regularly with the family regarding the children’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
– Be comfortable with a dog in the home.
– Possess strong swimming skills to ensure safety during aquatic activities.
– Flexibility to travel with the family to Europe between September and October.
**Qualifications:**
– Fluent in both English and Spanish.
– Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a nanny for a private family.
– Demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
– Strong understanding of childhood milestones and development.
– Knowledge of proper nutrition for young children.
– Montessori background is highly sought.
– Higher education degree preferred.
– Strong swimming skills.
– Comfortable with dogs in the home.
– Ability to relocate to Puerto Rico.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the children and family.
– Outstanding communication skills.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
– Competitive salary based on experience 75,000+.
– Relocation assistance provided.
– Private room and bath available.
– Preferred live-out arrangement, though live-in accommodations can be discussed.
– Flexibility in scheduling, including travel to Europe in late May-August.
