Nanny in Vineyard Haven

Overview
The Mtoto Agency is seeking a professional, experienced, and engaging nanny to provide childcare support during a wedding season in Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard in June - August 2026.

This role is ideal for a warm, reliable childcare professional who enjoys working in event settings and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while families celebrate and enjoy special occasions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and high quality childcare during wedding related events and in private homes
• Engage children in age appropriate play and activities
• Assist with meals, snacks, and basic routines as needed
• Maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment
• Communicate professionally with parents and event team members
• Support families throughout the event with flexibility and professionalism
• Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional nanny or childcare experience
• Experience caring for multiple children and various age groups preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable personality
• Comfortable working in event and travel settings
• Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
