Nanny- Live-in or out

Professional Livingston Family seeking a live-in Nanny/ Family Assistant for B2.5 and their 4-month-old baby boy. Care is needed Monday-Friday from ~ 6:30/7AM-6/6:30PM. The position is set to begin as soon as the family finds a great match.

Responsibilities:

-All childcare related duties for B2.5 and B4m

-Developmental Milestone activities

-Meal/bottle-preparation for the children (family tends not to eat meat, unless out)

-Transportation to/from school and activities

-Light housekeeping of children’s areas and common areas

-Keeping track/making lists of household inventory that may be running low

-Loading/Unloading dishwasher

-Occasional grocery shopping/errands should childcare be handled by family

Schedule: Monday- Friday from 6:30/7AM-6/6:30PM, occasional Saturday hours would be helpful for family to do errands in the daytime or date-nights/events at night

-B2.5 is currently in a school program W, Th, F from 9-12AM and will be enrolled in other activities as he gets older

Household Notes:

-Family has a strong Indian culture/background

-Grandparents will visit often, and family will be very involved—especially during the newborn stage

-Family’s style falls in line with gentle/nurturing, but also structured/practical

-Well-versed in developmental milestones

-Encourages creativity and independence

-Strong communicator

-Wants to grow with the family for years to come

-Familiarity with Indian Culture and food is preferred

-Bonus if they are a Hindi, Gujarati speaker

-Safe driver

Compensation:

- Hourly rate commensurate with Experience

Requirements:

-3+ years of infant and toddler experience

- Eligible to work in the US

- Clean criminal and driving record

- Fluent English (second language-a bonus)

-CPR/First Aid certified

-Up to date on vaccinations (Flu, Covid, TDAP)

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
